I’m sorry, I have respect for the Clinton’s but the tears in NH and the Shots in Indiana just had to be the most disingenuous pandering I have ever seen. It brought campaigning to an all time low. Now the tears leave room for argument but I’d want a little more steal, I mean steel from my president than that. Man or Woman, Loose/Loose.
But when our lovely Wellesley Graduate starts doing shots for the camera you know it’s a load of bull. Now please don’t jump down my throat with “Why can’t a woman do shots”. Of course woman can and do shots, some of the woman I party with can drink me under the table, so what. My point is this woman doing shots in Indiana is a pure stunt to appear as something she is not. Either way I don’t really want a president that does shots, that’s more like G.W.’s style. Once again Loose/Loose
But most of all, Hillary has really turned into the poster girl for disingenuous statements leading up to and since Obama clinched the nomination as well as the dictionary definition of delusional.
- She has decided to suspend her campaign, not end it.
- She says she’ll support the nominee but wont concede
- She speaks as if “her” 18 million votes are to be wielded like a sword. Against whom??? This is a primary, unless she intends to truly decimate the party and run as an independent it’s time to throw that 18 million behind the party candidate.
- She said she will endorse Obama but couldn’t even do it properly when he clinched the nomination
- She complains about Florida and Michigan but how can you count Michigan votes into her popular vote tally when Obama followed rules and was not on the ticket??
- How can you hold her tally of popular votes as legitimate when Rush Limbaugh has been urging republicans to vote Hillary since McCain was the GOP presumptive nominee. In a few states exit polls showed she got over 100,000 republican votes! there’s a reason the republicans want to face her in November and that is because the name Clinton stirs the republican base like no other. So who really is the strongest candidate to face McCain??
She is suffering from the inability to call it quits. She has to win at any cost no matter how unethical her actions. That is not a person who represents the people, that is a person who represents herself.
Now Al Gore got a pretty raw deal in Florida in 2000 and he stood his ground and tried to make sure a fair election was to be had. Hillary has had it a lot better than Al did in 2000 but even Al knew there is a time to do what’s best for this country instead of dragging a situation out to any “possible” conclusion.
Hillary needs to show ME that she will do what’s right. At this moment in time, for the country or my respect will be lost for all time. And Bill has been no prize lately either!
And BTW, to all you Hillary supporters who say they’ll vote McCain I reply: What are you on f’n drugs??? Wake up, Shake off the sadness and do what’s right, not what’s spiteful!
